How to Write a Condolence Letter

Part of Defining Someday involves overcoming challenges and obstacles – and acknowledging that the pursuit of your best life and your personal goals is not going to be seamless. It would be great if we could all just focus solely on pursuing our goals, but life isn’t like that.

The personal journey of goal achievement seems less important when people get sick, relationships falter, and our loved ones die.

At some point, we will all have to have some tools in our kit other than motivation, inspiration, . . .

“Any Advice for Me on My Birthday?”

Wednesday of this week was one of my favorite days of the year; it was my husband, Frank‘s birthday. I’m not much for my birthday or commercial and religious holidays, but I do love Frank’s birthday because it is a day when I get to show him how much he means to me by going crazy and planning a whole day full of surprises. Learning How to Say "No"

Somehow, I manage to get myself into an excessive pile of situations where the same two things happen every time: I’m doing something for someone else, and all the while I’m wishing I wasn’t.

Now, before you get all non-profit on me, I know it’s important to help other people. And you can’t say no to everything, or you’ll be considered a hermit. I understand. I’m not talking about a little volunteering here and a little helping-out-a-friend there. I’m talking about an extreme excess of involvement and helpfulness in other people’s events that makes me cranky, and strips . . .
